The Bio Tech class is building an aquaponic teaching laboratory. In the initial year, J and J Aquafarms designed 10 IBC-based aquaponic units for use for experimentation and Science Fair Projects.
Subsequent years explore other Aquaponic designs, like Deep Water Culture, and vertical systems. In the future, these systems will be integrated into other aquaculutre systems including greenhouses and open ponds.
